You will want to be apart of our evening service this coming Sunday, June 5. During our service we call "THE WELL" we will be talking about what it means to be followers of Jesus who "go into all of the world." During the service we will charge our teens to be "go-ers" as they head to Monte Cristal on a mission trip. Following the service EVERYONE is invited to the gym to share in some hotdogs and a Mexico packing party.
If you haven't figured it out yet you soon will - Western Hills is a mission passionate church. We are actively in the business of equipping our young people to live lives of mission. We want them to always see their responsibility as people who "GO".
So be there Sunday night. Be apart of this church sending its own out to be the Hands & Feet of Jesus into the world.
Love Ya Much
Scott M.

God blessed the world with the gift of His Son, Jesus Christ and, through Him, our hope of salvation.
God blessed Western Hills with a dedicated, consecrated group of young people willing to share their faith in Mexico.
Now our prayer is that God will richly bless each of you as you show Jesus to our brothers and sisters in Mexico. Via con Dios.
What blessings these Christian people are to the people of Mexico. I have seen their good works and dedication to the church in Monterrey. Our family in Temple can look to these ambassadors for leadership in the mission field
One of the most precious memories I have of our teens is the privilege of observing their servant hearts in Mexico. The challenge I want to give this 2005 group is to be the picture of Christ to the children in Mexico and to each other. Remember that these children are all eyes and ears and you all have a great opportunity to show them what they can become as they grow older. Don't forget to learn from them also. There is not enough room in this blog to write down everything I learned from my trips to Mexico. I leave you with a quote I stumbled on last year- author unknown, " The world's most fruitful mission field is not a particular place. It is not a particular country. It is a certain kind of people.....It is ...CHILDREN." God bless you and watch over you all week. Love, Julie
I think it is so awesome that young people would do some very hard work for people they do not know just because these young people love God.
May God bless your journey with safety, ministry, growth, and fun! You are our representatives in Mexico this week, but even more importantly, you are God's ambassadors. Show them His love and mercy. Be His hands and feet!
Allow yourself to be changed by this experience -- change your world view, improve your relationships with the youth group and adult sponsors, and strengthen your relationship with God. Look for His message in the eyes of the children you will meet.
I love you all! Randy
You will be in our hearts and prayers as you travel and work with the Christians in Mexico. What a wonderful experience to get to join with Christians around the world. Go out and do great things!
Shar and I miss being with you all. Have a wonderful trip. Remember the people that you serve and that you serve with. Only God knows where you will be 10 years. Will you be leading your youth group of kids to Mexico? Will you be a volunteer helping teens serve God? Don't let this trip go by without looking at how God is preparing you for future service in His Kingdom. This is time for you to serve and time for you to grow into the servant God desires you to be. We will pray for you all this week. Cole, your incharge of Scott - take care of him. We love you all.
